EDUARD
SELER During a visit to the area in
1910, he was the first to document the existence of
multicolored murals on the Huaca
de la Luna, which he
illustrated in his publications of 1915 and 1923.
ALFRED KROEBER Around 1926 he recorded a large segment of multicolored murals related to those that Seler found on Platform III of the Huaca de la Luna. His work was published in 1930 and discusses the "rebellion of the artifacts" theme developed by Kricheberg. JOSE GARRIDO In 1955 he recorded various murals on the upper platform of the Huaca de la Luna, which he published in a brief description in 1956. These correspond to a cultural tradition and had a checkerboard design.
